Professional Experience:
David Heylen has over 18 years of experience as an industrial designer. His experience includes domestic water and waste & vent piping, low and medium pressure HVAC, electrical, process piping and project management. He has worked for a variety of public clients such as King County, Highline School District & Port of Seattle, and commercial clients such as Verizon & T-Mobile as well as industrial clients such as Weyerhaeuser and Boise Cascade.

- 2nd Floor HVAC Upgrade, SeaTac Airport
- Primary HVAC supply air ductwork retrofit to mixed use (office and retail) spaces.
- T-Mobile Snoqualmie Data Center Upgrade, Snoqualmie WA, 2007: Designed high density cooling system, employing hybrid chilled water & refrigerant cooling loops for new data center.
- Fibre Federal Credit Union, Longview WA, 2007: MEP design including 1,145 MBH VAV AHU for 3-story mixed use office building
- Bellevue Service Center HVAC Upgrade, Bellevue WA, 2004: Redesign of HVAC system from H&V make-up air to Gas-Packaged air conditioning, utilizing existing ductwork.
- North Pacific Paper Mill, Hazardous piping & Vessel Inspection program 1995: Project management for field identification and isometric 'as-built' drawings of 90% of piping and vessels in facility. Responsibility for design and implementation of program for $1,000,000+ project.
